This 1994 Toyota 4Runner SR5 is powered by a replacement rebuilt 3.0-liter 3VZ-E V6 linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck is finished in black over gray cloth upholstery and features 15″ aluminum wheels, a sunroof, a receiver hitch, running boards, roof rails, roof cross bars, bodyside graphics, mud flaps, a powered rear window, front sport seats, air conditioning, cruise control, and an AM/FM/cassette/CD stereo. The truck spent time in Colorado and south Texas prior to the seller’s acquisition in 2012 and has since been driven approximately 15k of the 245k miles shown. This 4Runner SR5 is now offered at no reserve with a sample window sticker, the owner’s manual, service records, spare keys, a Carquest diagnostic tool, and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in black and features a sunroof, running boards, roof rails, roof cross bars, bodyside graphics, a receiver hitch, mud flaps, a rear window wiper, and a power rear window. December 2016 Carfax report entries note that the truck was involved in a rear-end collision that resulted in “minor damage” to the front and rear, and the truck was declared a Total Loss Vehicle by an insurance company. The rear hatch and bumper were repaired following the collision. The bodyside decals are faded. The 15″ aluminum wheels are mounted with 31 x 10.5″ Michelin LTX M/S tires. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums with ABS. The front shocks and the brakes were reportedly replaced under current ownership.
The cabin features manually adjustable front sport seats that were reupholstered in gray cloth under current ownership and are accompanied by color-matching trim and carpets. Amenities include air conditioning, a heater, cruise control, a CD stereo, a rear heater, and power windows. The shifter knob shows wear and the shifter boot cover is separated.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 110-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,750-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 245k miles, approximately 15k of which were added under current ownership.
A replacement 3.0-liter 3VZ-E V6 was rebuilt and installed in January 2015 and features electronic fuel injection. In September 2024 the vacuum hoses, wires, clamp hoses, water pump, radiator, battery, battery terminals, mass air flow assembly, ignition coil assembly, spark plugs, intake and plenum gaskets, and the electronic fuel injection main relay assembly were replaced and an oil change was performed.
Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The exhaust system was replaced under current ownership.
The sample window sticker notes initial delivery to Schaumburg Toyota in Illinois and lists factory colors, equipment, and a total of $28,164.
The Carfax report lists the aforementioned damage and “Total Loss Vehicle” notation.
