Remember when we found the Tour Pro 2 unusual for having a touchscreen display on its case so that you can use it like a smartwatch? JBL is sticking to the same formula with the Tour Pro 3, and even added more features to it.
Starting with the second-generation smart case, JBL incorporated a wireless transmitter into them, allowing you to use them on any USB or analog source. The idea is simple: just plug in the charging case, and you can enjoy listening to your Tour Pro 3 on devices that donโt have native Bluetooth connectivity like inflight entertainment systems.
Another benefit of the case acting as a treansmitter is that it gives a better connection with the earbuds themselves, offering lower latencies than the conventional Bluetooth connection. You also get Auracast, which allows you to broadcast your audio to more sources. The touchscreen display is 30% larger and provides a variety of features to save you from getting your phone out of your pocket.
Moving to the earbuds, they now have dual drivers and 360-degree spatial audio with Head Tracking to give you a more immersive audio experienceโespecially with some tracks that support spatial audio. The dual driver design adds a balanced armature on top of a 11mm dynamic driver to balance out highs and lows, and each driver has a dedicated DAC to help in proper audio reproduction. With all that hardware, the Tour Pro 3 supports Hi-Res wireless audio and LDAC codecs.
For noise cancellation, you get a total of six microphones and hydrodynamic windproof design to give you clear voice transmission during calls.
The JBL Tour PRO 3 will be available in Black and Latte colorways starting November 19 with an official price of Php 16,999 at all authorised JBL retail and online stores.
