Possibly a dumb question, but how do managers properly analyze how their team is playing from the angle they’re at?

I know they probably have overhead angles and stuff as well but the majority of the time they’re standing up in the technical area watching from that angle. Always wondered how they go about identifying weaknesses and tweaking their tactics from that angle.
