ARLINGTON, VA — A 67-year-old Arlington man faces an indecent exposure charge in an incident that took place just before 1 a.m. Wednesday in the Penrose area, according to Arlington County Police.
A woman told officers that she saw a man exposing himself inside a residential building in the 700 block of South Courthouse Road, according to police. The officers located the suspect nearby and detained him without incident.
The woman who made the initial report went to the Office of the Magistrate, where she filed a complaint against the suspect, according to police.

After obtaining a warrant, the officers arrested Stephen Lee of Arlington and charged him with indecent exposure. He was then released on his own recognizance.
Lee is scheduled to be arraigned on Dec. 2 in Arlington General District Court, according to court records.

Under the Code of Virginia, indecent exposure [§ 18.2-11] is a class one misdemeanor, which is punishable by both or either confinement in jail for not more than 12 months and a fine of up to $2,500.
